Role Overview
We’re looking for a Finance Intern to support our project operations, specifically around budgeting and grant documentation. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented, motivated individual interested in the finance side of international and locally funded AI projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and regularly update grant and financial documentation
- Assist in organizing and tracking project budgets and expense sheets
- Support financial reports for internal use
- Use Excel/Sharepoint to manage records, templates, and calculations
- Coordinate with admin and procurement for documentation
- Be open to learning about the finance structures behind global AI research projects (both fundamental science and industry R&D)
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s student or recent graduate in Finance, Economics, Management, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, formulas, formatting)
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable
- Curious about how AI and transforming societies intersect with finance
- Prior exposure to budgeting, documentation, or internship experience is a bonus
