Nepal Enters the Elite Tiers of Global Quantum Computing Research
Dr. Prasoon Saurabh, Founding PI of BDCAS at NAAMII, has secured a rare trifecta of global recognitions from CERN, LBNL, and RIKEN. His accepted research bridges condensed matter and high-energy physics by mapping the stability of 2D Many-Body Localization (MBL) to LHC lattice gauge thermalization.
By encoding the parameters of an Area-Law constrained Variational Quantum Algorithm into a continuous geometric observable, Dr. Saurabh’s framework circumvents traditional computational bottlenecks such as target-state diagonalization. This geometric spectrometry approach maps critical drift up to N = 12 qubits with minimal overhead.
The work has also attracted deep-tech validation, with advanced middleware support from Haiqu.
Alongside these technical contributions, Dr. Saurabh has been appointed to UNESCO’s Global Quantum Initiative, Working Group 5 on Anticipatory Governance, contributing to discussions around the governance and broader implications of emerging quantum technologies.
