  • Working on 3D scene understanding with semantic Gaussian Splats

Anubhav Khanal is a Research Assistant at NAAMII, having graduated in Computer Engineering from the Institute of Engineering, Pulchowk Campus. His current research focuses on 3D scene understanding by integrating semantic features into 3D Gaussian Splats, a cutting-edge neural rendering technique. His work addresses the challenge of creating rich 3D representations that not only capture geometric and appearance information but also encode semantic understanding of scenes. This research has applications in augmented reality, robotics, and virtual environments. His broader interests include digital humans and advanced neural rendering techniques.
